Detailed description:
ever since i bought this laptop (almost a year ago) i had a problem with the touchpad and the touch on screen. after about 20 min of use the mouse starts to jump on the screen which makes it impossible to use, and not only that... the screen touch goes crazy!!! starts opening and closing random apps, closing documents that i work on without saving!!!!!!
i tried everything!!!
updating drivers, rolling back the drivers, service center couldn't help. what am i supposed to do with a laptop that i cant control?????
really not worth the (very) high price.

Hi EllyG,
I fixed this issue. I posted in doscussion, but it appears the new post has dissappeared. The issue is static buildup in the touchpad. And the cheap metal sticky tape Asus use in attempt to fix this is useless. I had to open the laptop base and under the battery I created a fix that has solved the problem. I have not had any more issues with the touchpad since.
