@FongPoui Tested by the technical unit, using the same laptop and methods, we have not encountered the same phenomenon as you. The situation you have encountered should be that there is still data accessing the external SSD in the background. The most common reasons for this problem are as follows.
1.You have accidently created a shortcut of a folder or file in the USB device and placed it on your desktop or documents folder.
2.A file or files that belongs to the USB device is open
3.A process or an executable is running from the USB device
4.Windows Security or Antivirus software might be scanning the USB device
5.A malware in your system is accessing the USB device.
6.A malware in the USB device currently running and active in the background
I would recommend that you try rebooting to see if the problem improves.
