@belegdol
To avoid any misunderstandings, I would like to confirm once again.
Are you indicating that there are potential risks associated with this laptop due to an outdated BIOS version?
Fix Zenbleed: https://www.amd.com/en/resources/product-security/bulletin/amd-sb-7008.html

And regarding this question, there are currently no plans for that.

Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

Hi @Falcon_ASUS,

thank you for responding. The security issue is CVE-2023-20593. It is not fixed entirely in the latest BIOS (311) available for UM425IA. The following message can be seen when booting Linux for example:

kernel: Zenbleed: please update your microcode for the most optimal fix

Regarding CPPC: I understand, this would be nice-to-have but is not essential.

Finally, how  about fixing suspend issues? The initial responses in the thread were promising but then nothing happened. You yourself responded back in December 2022:

Confirmed by the technical unit, since the driver and BIOS need to be modified, it is expected to complete the modification and test in Q1 of 2023. After the new version is released, I will reply to you immediately, thank you.

While I understand that the laptop is an older model and thus not top priority, the tech specs page for it still mention the following:

Free Upgrade to Windows 11¹ (when available, see below)

I only upgraded to Windows 11 because of this. Getting broken suspend in return is not something I would call good experience.

@belegdol
I have confirmed the status with our technical team.
If there are any updates, we will promptly notify you.
Thank you.

@belegdol
I have sent you a message, please check.
Thank you.
