belegdolWe apologize for any inconvenience caused and your valuable advice will be included in future design and optimization considerations. Thank you.Linux kernel 4.17 added a new amd_pstate CPU performance scaling driver:
kernel.org/doc/html/latest/admin-guide/pm/amd-pstate.html
Unfortunately, on my Zenbook UM425IA, this driver does not work. Despite the CPU (Ryzen 5 4500U) supporting cppc, it appears to be disabled in BIOS, with no option of enabling it. The following error is being shown:
amd_pstate: the _CPC object is not present in SBIOS
Please consider either enabling the CPPC by default, or adding an option for enabling it. Thank you.
Please enable or allow enabling amd CPPC for Zenbok UM425IA
