Hello
I bought a new b5404cma recently. I had some issues
- In event viewer it says failed to update sbat value.
- Secure launch (a VBS service; not secure boot ) doesn't work
- Windows enhanced sign in security was enabled but then it just disappeared from settings
- A month ago my pc just froze at Asus logo and I had to force shut down my laptop.
I saw that Asus released a new bios version (306) for my laptop. My question is should I update to the latest bios? In the release notes it just says improved system performance and I don't know if that update could solve my issues. So should I update my bios?
Thank you for your help.

The reported issue is likely not related to the BIOS update. It is recommended to back up your data and restore the system to verify.

Hello,
Will resetting windows keep my license, will windows still be activated?
When resetting I chose the option to delete everything or keep files?
What if I try the option to reinstall windows with windows update?
Thank you for your help.

@leli4
If your laptop came with the system we provided at the time of purchase, reinstalling the system will not affect the Microsoft license.
The following is an explanation from the FAQ.
Keep personal files: This option will reinstall Windows while preserving your personal files and documents.
Remove everything: This option will completely delete all files, applications, and settings before reinstalling Windows.
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

Hello
My laptop came without os. I installed it later. Should I try the bios update before resetting windows?
