Hello
I bought a new b5404cma recently. I had some issues
- In event viewer it says failed to update sbat value.
- Secure launch (a VBS service; not secure boot ) doesn't work
- Windows enhanced sign in security was enabled but then it just disappeared from settings
- A month ago my pc just froze at Asus logo and I had to force shut down my laptop.
I saw that Asus released a new bios version (306) for my laptop. My question is should I update to the latest bios? In the release notes it just says improved system performance and I don't know if that update could solve my issues. So should I update my bios?
Thank you for your help.

Hello,
I will try to reinstall. I'm just wondering if the"fix problems using windows update" which keeps everything counts as an reinstallation? Should I try windows SFC or dism commands?
Should I try to reinstall before updating the bios or should try updating bios before?

@leli4
Fixing problems using Windows Update does not mean reinstalling the entire system.
If you are familiar with using the SFC and DISM commands, you can try them, but given the issues you are currently experiencing, I would recommend consulting with Microsoft first.
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.
