Overheating issue announcement on Android 14

All users who are experiencing high overheating issue on your ROG 7 please follow these steps and send your long to the moderators @Mattias_ASUS . He is gathering all the logs and going to send them to dev team. Hopefully, if we all send our logs we get a fix soon.

To the people experiencing this issue: I am gathering logs for the dev team regarding this issue, for this to actually work the logs need to be created while using the phone normally and please write down the timestamp on when the heating is occurring, when you are done please send me a PM with the link for the logs.

Please follow the below steps to enable the built-in log tool (Bug reporter).
1. Open “Calculator APP”
2. Enter “.19595+=”
3. Select the Log type according to the type of issue you want to capture. “General cases” will work for most issues.
4. After your selection the log tool will exit so you can duplicate the issue or wait for it to happen. Try to use the screen recorder to show your issue when possible. If you can't screen record your issue, then please take a screenshot right after the issue has occurred (as a timestamp) so we know where to look in the log.
5. Navigate back to the log tool via calculator and Tap "FINISH AND SHARE".
6. It takes several minutes for the log to generate. You can exit and do other stuff in the meantime. A silent notification will tell you once the process is done. Tap the notification and then the share button to upload the file to Google Drive and share the link with a moderator. Just make sure to change the permission first so that everyone with the link has permission to view it.
Note: When you're no longer planning on logging your device, enter “.09595+=” in the calculator and the log tool will stop as well as deleting all stored log files. Make sure to share via calculator. The files found in internal storage -> asus_log are not the correct files (they are only 1.2kb)

I totally understand. I want a downgrade too but in the mean time I don't want my phone to break down while I'm  using my phone in a daily basis.

 I also discovered something similar yesterday, I was reading Zentalk and saw messages about heating. I decided to check it too, and for some reason it began to heat up to 39°, and I decided to constantly turn on the super-saving mode so as not to damage the phone. I made a mistake updating to A14, but I didn't download the update that came out last Friday. There are also bugs with triggers.

because I don't know if they're cheating on Asus or what, but during normal use the CPU spins too high and pushes the performance unnecessarily, the entire task report of the application's kernel is poorly done as if it were written by a monkey, it also freezes in games, where in my opinion the GPU spins too high and useless, I don't know people, but Asus is currently worse than Nubia, if they don't fix it, it will collapse soon, I'm not even talking about the rog 8 file, which isn't even a gaming phone, but just a dime a dozen Zenfone

I don't want a F@#€ing new android 14 update the messed up my phone it has 74% battery it's discharged by 26% because of this Sh@t update I want to roll back to android 13 they gave us the downgrade files earlier on rog phone 5 back in the days why not on rog phone 7 this is unacceptable I will refund this crap of a phone get my money back and buy a red magic 9 pro waaaay less expensive then this worthless phone android 14 destroyed my whole gaming experience fps drops like crazy not stable at all and overheating to 49° Celsius WITH COOLER  WHAT A SHAME ASUS MESSED UP AND LOOSES CUSTOMERS  never buying an Asus phone again they lose another customer once again @Mattias_ASUS

If ya all want the overheating issue and other bugs go away , we all have to co-operate together and send the logs. I asked the moderator about the logs and he just told me he got one new log so far ! Don't you all want a fix ???????
