ZenWiFi XT8 Backhaul connectivity problems after upgrade

Hi All,
I recently upgraded to Firmware Version :3.0.0.4.388_21617 and two nodes connect the main router only over 2.4GHz. When I was on Firmware Version: 3.0.0.4.386_48973, both the nodes would consistently be connected over 5GHz-2 backhaul without any issues.
Is there a way to fix this?
One way I found was to downgrade back to Firmware Version: 3.0.0.4.386_48973.
ASUS Support for the US is a drag. Not helpful other than sending lengthy emails with irrelevant fixes and asking to fill a stupid word document over and over.

I factory reset everything and was able to get it to connect to 5GHz backhaul

Are you able to make the latest firmware (3.0.0.4.388.21617) work after factory resetting? If so, what were your steps? Upgrade to 3.0.0.4.388.21617 and then factory reset or factory reset and then upgrade to 3.0.0.4.388.21617?

I have had the same issue for some time. After fiddling around for a setting that could solve the problem, I gave up today and downgraded to firmware 3.0.0.4.386_42095.
The backhaul at 5GHz-2 appears to be stable so far.

Same issue with 3.0.0.4.388_22068. 10 minutes after reboot, the backhaul switches to 2.4GHz.

Hi, I had the same problem.
I tried solution from rahulc73 above...
"...Basically I changed "Channel Bandwidth" from "Auto" Or other entries to "20Mhz" while enabling "160Mhz" and hit save...."
Then i came back to default parameters ("Channel Bandwith" to "20/40/80/160 MHz" allowing 160 Mhz), and hit save...
Miracle! Backhaul came back to 5 HHz-2, but with instability, and frequent searches from the nodes (sparkling blue).
But still better than before.

Same problem with the last firmware. I return to the 3.0.04 388 21099 for stabilise wifi. full auto configuration.
I use 4 XT8 and with the last firmware i have many searches nodes (spakling blue).
I wait the next firmware for test.
