Asus Splendid always crash on startup (Windows 10 and 11)

System: Asus Expertbook B1400CEPE
Battery or AC: Both
Model: B1400CEPE
Frequency of occurrence: Upon entering windows (first boot and after restart)
Reset OS: Windows 10 and 11

========================
Detailed description:
Crash always occur on startup of Windows. This happens when Asus System Control Interface version is 3.1.0.0 or higher (3.1.1.0, and the latest 3.1.2.0).
It doesn't happen in version 3.0.22.0. So, temporary remedy is to roll back Asus System Control Interface to version 3.0.22.0. But it keeps updating itself to the newest version.
Tried updating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and problem still the same. Dear Asus, please look at version 3.0.22.0 and apply to the latest version, because v3.0.22.0 doesn't have Asus Splendid crashes.

I'm sorry, but that's not an option. As I mentioned, version 3.0.22.0 works flawlessly. I'm not going to reset my system just to try this.

While doing research upon this matter, I found very similar problem in this thread: https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/57239/splendid-crashing-on-windows-11

That thread has been closed, and there is no clue whether the problem is solved or not.

No, the problem was not resolved. After back and forth for several weeks and providing the log files as requested, I was told that Technical Depart confirms there are no crashes. Reset your system.
I am not going to reset the system. Version 3.0.22.0 works therefore the fault is in versions 3.1.x.x and also 3.1.2.0. Instead of resetting the system, I will rather trash the MyASUS, which has some nice features but is not required for Windows 11.

Hi BDCTV,
Thanks for confirming. I believe many systems are affected, but since no crash dialog popped out (at least in my system), I bet people aren't aware that there is something wrong with their system.
I strongly suggest Tech Dept to check the reliability monitor, since in my case no dialog appear when the crash happened. Maybe because it happens before Windows GUI loads up.

Hi Zarcos,
In my case, I get a Splendid crash dialog box at the startup. I notice in the Event Viewer, which points to a buggy AsusTru2Life.dll. ASUS has removed version 3.0.22 from their website. I, unfortunately, deleted the version 3.0.22 installer. I will soon trash the MyASUS, as with the latest drivers, it is nothing more than a piece of junk. The Technical support solution to reset the system is a laughable naive answer.

Hi BDCTV,
Perhaps in tech dept laptop, the dialog didn't appear as in my case, and they didn't bother to check the reliability monitor or the event viewer.
Unfortunately I still have to keep MyASUS to switch battery charging mode. So, everytime I opened MyASUS, I have to roll back ASCI driver from the device manager.
I still keep V3.0.22.0 in case the roll back in device manager doesn't work.

I see no further activity or response from ASUS. Does it mean, ASUS insists that ASCI has no crash problem?
