Asus Unlock Tool not working on Zenfone 9

Recently received an Asus Zenfone 9 and the Asus Unlock App is returning "Failed to unlock your device, please try again later.[24802]" when attempting to unlock the bootloader.  While running logcat I also see the following HTTP output:

Are you aware that there is a major failure in your phone which prevents hundreds of customers not being able to use Asus, caused by a minor bug that is already almost 4 weeks old? What is this?
If you will not offer unlocking ability in the future anymore, just be honest about it and stop disappointing people.

So, will there be a fix or not?

I bought the Zenfone 9 a week ago but without the ability to unlock the bootloader it doesn't bring me that much. It's really a shame that this server issue still exist after a whole month without any explaination from the moderators (Were a month should be more than enough time to bring some clarification). I begin to believe that ASUS won't allow it's customers to unlock the bootloader - which will be an absolut NO GO!!!

The Zenfone 9 is such a beautiful phone but without root it's holding to much potential back for me. I will wait just a few days longer - if this issue is not resolved in this time I have to return this phone and look for a phone at a competitor which doesn't depend on an app and server (which is such a dumb idea to begin with) to unlock the bootloader. 

As an customer - I'm really disappointed from ASUS at this part.  ASUS is capable to build such a beautiful phone and on the other side you scare off hundreds of customers by not fixin this server issue. It's such a shame.

i just traded my z8 for a pixel 6. i'm done with asus. that'd be my last asus phone ever

1 month and a few days later and still nothing.. no answers from Asus no nothing. Does anybody have some updates? This really is annoying and everyone is tired waiting for that unlocking app to work. Any other method we can use to unlock the bootloader that is safe,does anybody know a method?
