Asus Zenfone 10, Android 13, build WW_33.0220.0220.52.
I have an issue, where the proximity sensor stops working during a call in specific intervals (around 1 minute). When I answer a call and put the phone close to my ear, the screen gets disabled, but after a minute of holding the phone steady, close to my ear (I know the sensor is a little to the side of the speaker), the screen gets activated. Then I need to move the phone away and back, and the proximity sensor works again for around 1 minute and the problem comes back.
I tested the proximity sensor, and during the test it never showed any symptoms mentioned above. The issue seems to occur only during calls.
Using different call screens and phone apps doesn't help.
A similar issue has been reported a long time ago, but it might be a little different case than mine:

The issue seems to be fixed with the following firmware:

Thank you @Mansi_ASUS for your support.

Hey @Skwara,
Could you please share a log file for the issue?
Please follow the below steps to enable the built-in log tool (Bug reporter).
1. Open “Calculator APP”
2. Enter “.19595+=”
3. Select the Log type according to the type of issue you want to capture. “General cases” will work for most issues.
4. After your selection the log tool will exit so you can duplicate the issue or wait for it to happen. Try to use the screen recorder to show your issue when possible. If you can't screen record your issue, then please take a screenshot right after the issue has occurred (as a timestamp) so we know where to look in the log.
5. Navigate back to the log tool via calculator and Tap "FINISH AND SHARE".
6. It takes several minutes for the log to generate. You can exit and do other stuff in the meantime. A silent notification will tell you once the process is done. Tap the notification and then the share button to upload the file to Google Drive and share the link with a moderator. Just make sure to change the permission first so that everyone with the link has permission to view it.
Note: When you're no longer planning on logging your device, enter “.09595+=” in the calculator and the log tool will stop as well as deleting all stored log files. Make sure to share via calculator. The files found in internal storage -> asus_log are not the correct files (they are only 1.2kb)

Hi @Mansi_ASUS. Currently I'm having troubles with replicating the issue. I don't know what changed, but previously I was able to trigger it every time, but now it never happens. Let me monitor the situation for a couple of days. If I will manage to replicate it, I will upload the logs and a video.

Did this ever get addressed...I am having the exact same problems, was told it might be faulty proximity sensor and had to buy a new phone, copy over the data and send the first back to asus only to discover the problem is present in the new phone also.
