Disable lockscreen weather

How can i get rid of the weather notification on the lockscreen? Disabling the app hasn't even got rid of it

You can normally disable notifications via Settings > Notifications. There you will find a list of apps with their respective notification rights. You should simply disable the notification rights for the Weather app.

Actually, I was not too happy with the standard Weather app, so I disabled it and installed the Microsoft Weather App (MSN Weather). It's a combined Weather and News app, but you can just stick to the weather section and get a lot of useful information for free.

Not a banner notification; the widget. As i wrote: Disabling the app hasn't even got rid of it

Touching a widget with your finger reveals the delete option at the top of the display. Just drag the widget onto it and it will be deleted.

If something else went wrong with the app, try re-enabling the App, then force it to stop, delete its cache and its data, and restart the phone.
