Zenbook UM3406HA - old AGESA results in power drain

Zenek
Star I

Hello,

I am using zenbook 14 oled with Linux and the battery usage(especially idle) is disappointing because of BIOS bug disabling CPPC subsystem.

AMD has communicated the issues to Asus couple months ago but there is no news on bios release on Asus part.

Reported AGESA version: : AGESA!V9 PhoenixPI-FP8-FP7 1.1.0.1a

A comparable HP notebook is returning 1.1.0.2b already.

There have been also reports of this AGESA version containing GPU stability bug although I am not sure if I personally encountered that bug.

I would be happy to be a first betatester of the new bios if you wish.

@Zenek
Unfortunately, we have not tested the Linux system, so we cannot guarantee its stability and compatibility.
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.
