Persistent Sleep Mode Issues with New ASUS Laptop

Dear Reader,

I am experiencing frequent issues with my newly purchased ASUS laptop, where it fails to wake from sleep mode on most occasions. Despite trying several troubleshooting steps, the problem persists. Here's a summary of the actions I've taken so far:

  • Updated all ASUS drivers, BIOS, and Windows via MyASUS and Windows tools.
  • Disabled the Hibernate feature in MyASUS settings.
  • Reset BIOS settings to default.
  • Reinstalled Windows 11.
  • Adjusted Windows power settings to prevent deep sleep (hibernate) and other settings that might cause this issue.
  • Followed the guidelines in ASUS support articles (FAQ 1051238 and FAQ 1042630).

The only way to turn the laptop back on is by holding the power button for 10 seconds to force a reset. This results in the loss of all open programs and documents, which is not an acceptable way to work.

I would like to understand a definitive solution to this problem.

Could you please provide me with the BIOS version, system version (operating system build numbers), MyASUS version, and graphics driver version that you are currently using? Additionally, I have sent you a message, please check your inbox.

For such a problem, you can run the Windows Power Troubleshooter. Check if there are any recent changes in the BIOS settings. if this is the reason then you can reset the BIOS settings. If nothing works then download a driver updater software.
