Are there any plans from ASUS to support this laptop for Linux?
I recently purchased the UX8406MA and I'm a little disappointed with the compatibility as my old laptop worked just fine. Now I have a state-of-the-art device with numerous features but which does not support several of them on Linux.
Perhaps working with community developers to provide this support would be a good way. The development team at https://asus-linux.org/ is very attentive and is interested in supporting the UX8406, but to do so they would at least need to have a device like this to work with. It would be possible?

@Irmoktran
Unfortunately, we have not tested the Linux system, so we cannot guarantee its stability and compatibility.
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

Hi @Falcon_ASUS, I installed Fedora Linux 40 KDE on my device and discovered that everything worked seamlessly without any intervention. Few things aren't working so with a little effort and your support/sponsor i think that the Linux-Asus community should be able to make the Zenbook Duo Pro full Linux compatible. The tested components that I tested:
- touchscreen
- writing recognition
- 120hz 3k dual screen with gestures
- all input/output (usb-c with pd, HDMI with a 3rd monitor, audio jack)
- wireless(2.4 and 5) and Bluetooth(tested mouse, keyboard, headset, cellphone tethering).
- webcam and IR
- Temperature sensors and battery level and voltage
- Firmware update was applied by Linux (UEFI Bios 306)
The only things that is not working properly are:
- The Fn keys of Bluetooth keyboard. Its possible to pair the keyboard but its not possible to control screen brightness, keyboard backlight and so on, however the volume key are working.
- When you attach/detach the keyboard the second screen is not disabled/enabled.
