How to type bullet point on Asus Zenbook Pro Duo

I can't get my Zenbook Pro Duo to type bullet points.

I've tried turning on the number keypad on the touchpad and then using Alt+ 0149: nothing happens

I've tried opening the on-screen keyboard and typing Alt+7: nothing happens

How does one achieve a bullet point???

Could you please tell me the full model name of the laptop you are using? 
Does your laptop have a physical keyboard?
If there is, please bbey the following instructions to type this symbol using the alt code method:
1.Place the insertion pointer where you need the symbol.
2.Press and hold the Alt key on your keyboard.
3.Whilst holding on to the Alt key, press the bullet alt code (0149) using the numeric keypad.
4.Release the Alt key after typing the Alt code to insert the Symbol into your document. (Sometimes you may need to press "enter")
