Can we have touch and mouse input at the same time?

System: Windows 10
Model: Zenbook Duo UX482EG
As I understand the mouse and touchscreen functions are linked to the same type of input. Is it possible for them to be different?
For example, if i am image editing and I want to drag to pan an image while using the mouse or trackpad to use a tool within the program?
Another example: If I'm playing a game in full screen and I tap the screenpad+ by accident the game minimises. Would it be possible to have windows understand that i didn't click there I just wanted to scroll a window on the secondary screen?

Hi there,
From what I know is that you can not use finger touch and pen touch at the same time.
You would need to give the laptop a few second to switch in between and then it would recognize the actions correctly.
Please try the scenario you listed, if there is anything wrong, please let me know.

This doesn't work and seems like a major shortcoming for creators and designers using Windows 10 touch on this device
