I had to replace my main display screen on my Vivobook S15 which has a screenpad. When I swapped out the screen it never came on and now the only screen detected is the screenpad.
I have tried 3 different screens and make sure the serial number matched the original screen. I tried updating all the drivers, resetting bios, resetting display settings, and brightness before resetting the computer, with no luck. The camera still works and I can connect an external monitor with no problem. I can access everything on the computer using the screenpad.
It seems like it is just not detecting the new connected screen or may be screen is not getting power. Is there any thing else I can check or do to get it to see the new screen?
