Flicking Screen issue

The laptop screen is showing horizontal flickering and distorted lines across the display, even before logging into Windows (as seen on the login screen). The distortion persists throughout the boot process, which indicates a possible hardware issue rather than a software or driver fault. The visual problem appears as multiple horizontal lines and screen tearing, affecting visibility and making normal use difficult. The rest of the device (keyboard, power, and login function) seems operational.

 

Actions Taken:

  • Restarted the device — issue persists.
  • Checked for external display connection — distortion remains on the built-in screen.
  • No visible physical damage to the display or hinges.

Was this issue resolved? I don't get any support from ASUS for the issue I have just wanted to know if Asus won't support for service as a brand. I have seen service center people treating customer badly before. So just wanted to see if this is same with all people.
