Restart freeze - vivobook

Got recommended to update the system when I'm about to shut down my device -> clicked update&shutdown -> freeze when restarted. It's been 30 mins and it was never like this.

Anyone had this experience?

Please check if the indicator light on the storage device is still blinking.
If it is blinking, it means the system is still processing.
If it is not blinking, we recommend waiting a bit longer. 
If there is still no response, press and hold the power button to restart the laptop and check again.
