ASUS Transformer Upgrade to Win 10?

I have the T100 Transformer laptop.

It comes with Win 8.1 and 30G drive.
I currently have 1 G free space.
Win 10 says it needs 8G to install.

Questions:

1. Can I install with less than 8 G free?
2. Will Win 10 run on this PC?
3. I simply want to run WhatsApp for PC, but it needs Win 10 (to get video calls).
    Any other way to do this?

I might not recommend installing Windows 10 for your use, as system updates also occupy available space, which could lead to the computer running slower over time.
