I've 4 BT8s configured in router mode and connected with an ethernet backhaul. My iPhone 14pro and my Mac (M2) frequently (daily) enter in a loop of connection and disconnection from Wifi (every 2-3 seconds). This happens also if I'm in the same room of the main router or of a mesh node.
I've a standard configuration with a single SSID.
The only way to mitigate the problem is to delete the network from my iPhone configuration and configure it again.
What can I do?

Hi,
I got in contact with another tech-reviewer (https://dongknows.com) and he said basically that it was an incompatibility between Apple devices and WiFi 7. He said I could gladly replace the bt8 with another WiFi 7 system but I would encounter the same problems🤷:male_sign: I’ve had the most issues with Apple devices but also a PS5 to where my sons avatar «skipped a beat» (like he was thrown 0,5 seconds back in time) several times, and I therefore don’t know what to think. I finally had enough and returned the BT8 to the dealer as I’d spent NOK 10.000 on 3 bt8s (~$1.000) on something that’s not working as it should. I also even found the range to be poor (and that’s why I added a third device to the initial 2-pack. My house is only 200 m2 on 1 floor, but lightbulbs on the exterior walls did not get any signal even if the devices in-house was strategically placed. Even if it is an issue with Apple it’s so insanely amazing this has allowed to happen - and being allowed to be sold as a product!
in any case, my bt8s have been returned, awaiting a refund while I’ve bough a new WiFi 6e system for under half the price with a router and 2 nodes. (Not received the new system yet).
Even if its incompatibility, the money spent on this is some of the worst investment I’ve ever made (and note also that I have tested 2 separate packs of bt8s as I was allowed to replace my initial purchase! I Did not have issues before and don’t have issues now in my temporary old routers system.

Hello,
Can anybody tell me if this problem is fixed and how?
I’m having the same issues with my Asus BT8 Aimesh setup. Each morning the main aimesh router will not accept the wifi when the phone is trying to connect the wifi. It is getting in a loop of connects and disconnects. These phone were connected to one of the other aimesh nodes with wifi the whole night.
In the morning when phone has this issue I can select a different wifi (i.e. the guest network) on the same routers and it will connect and after that I can immediatly select the main wifi again and it will connect again.
Please help.

Install beta firmware. It resolves the issue.
