Can I bridge a mesh network between an AXE1000 (ET12) and an AX5400 (RTax82U) using a Winegard Extreme performance 2.0 https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B09DR1LN5G/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ? The ET12 is in my house, RT AX 82U in an outbuilding, distance from ET12 to winegard antenna is approvimately 200 feet. 40 feet of Cat 8 from antenna to antenna Power (over internet) plug, 2 feet of cat 8 plug to RT ax 82U.

I don’t think the RT-AX82U accepts PoE? (It’s unclear why you mention 2 ft of Ethernet Cat 8 wire to it). For AiMesh to work I believe the signal from the two routers needs to overlap in the middle. So if you need something to bridge in between it would need to be another ASUS product instead of the WineGuard.
The Winegard gets POE, the 1.5 foot cat 8 goes to the RT-AX82U which gets power from its DC wall plug dongle.. My question is, If the Winegard is indeed a passive bridge (as opposed to an active router) will the RT-AX82U be able to join as a mesh node (for which is has been paired) or will the Winegard try to act as an active router and thus not be able to be a part of the ASUS mesh network? Other bridge schemes have worked on mesh nodes https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xdDPQd5Vfo0 so my question stands.
The bridge as I researched on the Extreme 2.0 instructions works by running Ethernet from the router (ET12) to the PoE “plug”. It can then bridge in between the two ASUS routers. (Is this the goal)? Or are you hoping the ET12 and RT-AX82U can communicate directly among themselves and extend beyond the AX82U with the Extreme 2.0? As you have explained the only way for the Extreme 2.0 to get data will be from the AX82U as you connect to a LAN port on the AX82U.
