Please restore the system again. After that, please follow the steps below to install the driver.

Thank you, I will give it a try when reinstalling system, although I had automated driver installation file via AsusInsWiz.exe, pretty much followed the steps you shared.
If not too much bother, what's this driver for, which device?

It may be that the driver of the chipset is not installed properly. So I suggest you to restore the system and install the driver with the steps of FAQ. Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

Took me some time but found them 🙂 How to find drivers based on this, Google search doesn't help 😞
