Detailed description:
I experience an issue with audio on my new Vivobook Pro 16X. The audio volume level is very low, even at 100%. I tried switching to headphones for testing purposes but it did not help. Never had such problem with any laptop. I assume some background app for microphone is lowering the volume level.

Thomas

What are the system version, BIOS version and audio driver version you are currently using?
Have you tried removing and reinstalling the audio driver?
Thank you.
Already tried reinstalling audio drivers. Many times.
Windows 110. BIOS version 3.00. Right now using the ones from ASUS website - 9231.

Can I confirm with you again, are all sound files played in the same condition? Is it the same for playing youtube videos? Thank you.
It's for all audio. In Media Player, Youtube or games.

I'm using Windows 11, not Windows 10. Maybe here's the reason.
Switch back to Windows 10. Now it's much much better. That's strange.
Using 9231 drivers (Realtek HD Audio) from August 2021.
Sorry, it was my mistake. I read it wrong...
