As described above, the webcam image has grey lines and occasional green flickers. This only occurs when AC power is plugged in, everything works perfectly when using battery. I have removed and re-installed drivers with no success.
This is a brand new laptop that I removed from the box yesterday.
I see that there are two other questions with the same issue, but no answer has been provided. Is this a hardware issue and do I need to return my laptop or is there a software fix?
Hi, I've got the same problem as everybody else here - webcam video is flickering when the computer is on AC. The problem does not persist when on battery. I've tried to update the BIOS to the newest version. bot it has not helped anyway. @Blake_ASUS could you send me also the newest version of BIOS that is not avaiable on the ASUS website? My model is X509FJ. Thans in advance.
Hi @Blake_ASUS I just bought a ExpertBook P5440FA-XS74 two days ago and same problem. Camera flickers on AC, but not on battery. Just updated BIOS today. Version 311. Still the same issue. Please advise how to fix this?
Hi, I'm having the same issue - gray lines and green flickering of my screen during Zoom/Webex/all video chat apps. Unfortunately, it has been quite disruptive during my meetings and interviews. It appears to improve when I'm just running on battery, not plugged in. Is there BIOS fix for this? I have an Asus Vivobook X512FL, BIOS 303 (most updated I could find on the site). Thanks!
