Detailed description:
If I close the lid and let the chromebook go to sleep, then open the lid, the keyboard and touchpad do not work until I tilt the device a little bit. It appears to resume in Tablet mode and doesn't switch back to Desktop mode until it is tilted. Anyone else see this issue?

Have you tried reinstalling the touchpad driver?
In addition, please also confirm whether the system has been updated to the latest through Windows Update.
