Asus Unlock Tool not working on Zenfone 9

Recently received an Asus Zenfone 9 and the Asus Unlock App is returning "Failed to unlock your device, please try again later.[24802]" when attempting to unlock the bootloader.  While running logcat I also see the following HTTP output:

Same for me, seems like servers for unlocking are offline... when they will be on again?

I've been told by a mod the tool is under maintenance, and by asus us on twitter it's been under maintenance since May 02.

Do not waste your time guys. Whenever I have made a post to complain about this phone, a Fanboy who defends the brand appears. the reason? All new phones have problems when they are released (Even after a year they continue to maintain the same justification)

It is simply the worst after sales service I have seen in a reputable company .

Google Pixel is incredibly superior in that respect
