Asus Unlock Tool not working on Zenfone 9

Recently received an Asus Zenfone 9 and the Asus Unlock App is returning "Failed to unlock your device, please try again later.[24802]" when attempting to unlock the bootloader.  While running logcat I also see the following HTTP output:

Customer support just informed me 3-7 business days while the unlock service is under maintenance.  Not sure if that's an additional time period or including the down time of last week.  For what it's worth, the unlock app is now returning a new error code included below so it does seem like progress is being made.

I spoke to support an hour ago and the serial number of the phone was sent

I've spoken with Asus tech support
And we will wait for a response from them
It is not reasonable to have a phone that costs more than $1,200 and I can't control it
There is no online solution to unlock the device
