As requested by the mod - opening new discussion for the issue.
The Flashing Full Ramdump happened to me too - the phone was being charged over the night and the error was waiting when I woke up.
I hope that at least your service will fix it quickly.

It's been awhile since I've checked this thread and I'm not surprise that this post is still going strong! And of course the mods and Asus are still radio silent lol
I just want to say kudos to the person who publish this article https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/10/28/asus-zenfone-8-rog-phone-5-getting-bricked-due-to-ramdump-erro..., finally this issue is getting some publicity rather than it being limited to this forum where the mods clearly don't give an F about us anymore.

My nightmare with Asus is over. Sold the phone off yesterday, for £420, loosing almost half the value, but at least I won't have to worry about the phone dying on me. Never again will I touch anything Asus.

congrats man! must have feel great to have the weight off your shoulders trying to deal with Asus haha.
I'm considering pixel 6 but is waiting a few more months if people will report any bugs/issues or might wait for oneplus10 to come out.

Yes I'm free. I do keep an eye on this thread, but I'm done with Asus.

Yesterday Marcel Campos (Head of Global Marketing Operations at ASUS) was live on youtube, I asked via superchat if Asus was really aware and working on the ramdump problem... He said yes, and that they were working on updates that correct this problem.
Will an update really be able to solve it?

I got a response from the service center, saying that they did not know the exact root cause for the ramdump error. They were told by Asus that it is "caused by mainboard defect after verification", and that they should just replace the mainboard free of charge.
