Gustav_ASUSyay.@Blumi I'll paste the same comment I made in a different thread on the same subject, concerning Zenfone 8 A11:
We are currently keeping the Zenfone 8 Android 12 FOTA rollout on hold, after receiving reports of system issues encountered by some users. Our team is currently hard at work resolving these issues, and we plan to resume the FOTA process as soon as we have a more stable version ready for distribution.
Depending on how long this takes, we will roll out another A11 update with the latest Android security patch.
For users that want to manually update their devices to Android 12, we provide a manual update file on the Zenfone 8 support web page: https://www.asus.com/Mobile/Phones/ZenFone/Zenfone-8/HelpDesk_BIOS/
(If you run into any issues after upgrading your device to Android 12, please refer to the downgrade package that can be found on the support web page. Please make sure to backup any personal data before you start the downgrade process.)

andreesculPpl think Android is Windows...https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/204157#Comment_204157
What is the impact of a 3-months old security update on the security of your phone? Very, very close to zero probably.

andreesculDepends. Some people don't care about security, don't care about their data and some do. What latest security patch means is that there are no known exploits like this:https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/204157#Comment_204157

cicagorioYou are totally right but some people cannot understand your words. Don't waste your time.https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/comment/204164#Comment_204164
Depends. Some people don't care about security, don't care about their data and some do. What latest security patch means is that there are no known exploits like this:
"The most severe of these issues is a critical security vulnerability in the System component that could lead to remote escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation". (source https://www.securityweek.com/androids-february-2022-security-update-patches-36-vulnerabilities)
There were 36 security issues patched in the February 2022 update alone. When you add December and Jan to that it is concerning. Especially if you care about keeping your data that you have on your phone private.
