How to enable multiple users?

Hi, how can I enable multiple users on my phone.
Is it supported? If not, why not?
I don't want to root just got this feature.

The multi-user mode is not supported. The following is the previous official reply. 
Due to the overall efficiency impact, there is currently no open planning.

As answered the multi-user mode has been removed from ZenUI since several years.
The major reason is that this feature is really not kept up to date in AOSP code either, and there are a lot of performance related issues.
