Android 15 breaks background media playback

Since my phone updated to Android 15 most if not all media playback has broken, regardless of service/app. A video or a song will play for about a minute before the media player itself disappears, requiring the app to be reopened to begin playing again. I've played with every battery setting and every solution online has been a dead end. Prior to the Android 15 update this problem did not exist, so it only leads me to believe it was caused by the Android 15 update.

Seems like the problem is not just one app but many apps. Mine is Pratsam Reader.

I bet there is several users this affect but they have not found the way to report it.

What we have common is this happened after Android 15 to the apps which worked fine before. @Mattias_ASUS cant reproduce this but have you tried it? I think I saw that you cant downgrade to previous version and test it. If you can reproduce it you cant fix it or raise issue.

Do others have any company or other provision in your phone? Work apps and own apps? Is there way to generate needed logs which shows the problem so it can be investigated?

Yes it is obvious this happened after Android 15. So there is no way to downgrade to 14? That is to bad.

In testing various audio/video apps, it's seems the bug applies to all video players including offline ones like VLC, but when it comes to audio players, players that are offline seem to not be impacted by the bug. Neutron and Bandcamp can both playback audio without a connection and at least for me do not crash the media panel/player. Apps that do need a connection like Tidal and YouTube or proxy apps like Grayjay and Newpipe seem to crash. It may be something to do with media playback requiring an online connection? Apps that have PIP don't crash if you have the media in PIP mode, unless you lock your phone then they seem to crash almost instantly. Hopefully some of the log data I linked to @Mattias_ASUS is of value.

@Mattias_ASUS please read everything here and in my private message. It has become pretty obvious what is causing it.
