Android 15 breaks background media playback

Since my phone updated to Android 15 most if not all media playback has broken, regardless of service/app. A video or a song will play for about a minute before the media player itself disappears, requiring the app to be reopened to begin playing again. I've played with every battery setting and every solution online has been a dead end. Prior to the Android 15 update this problem did not exist, so it only leads me to believe it was caused by the Android 15 update.

Sorry, but No. In the world of 2FA, not having a phone tied to all of it is borderline impossible, factory resetting is not a valid answer for a problem created by Asus. Sure a factory reset could fix it, but that's simply not worth the headache of setting up the whole device with authentications again. The responsibility to fix it is on Asus with a patch or figuring out how to do it manually.

I also have got this very same problem since Android 15 update. It seams that there's a bug and Asus should really try to fix it asap, instead of millions of Zenfone 10 users have to reset their phones.

I have the same problem and thought it was Tidal at first. But since no other Tidal user seemed to know about it issue I started thinking that maybe it has to do with Asus. After reading this it is obvious. Makes me feel I need to apologize to Tidals customer support really.

Will this be fixed or do we need to change our phones?

So the problem is Asus and not Tidal!!! Read my post from just a minute ago about this exact problem. I actually did do a factory reset and can confirm the problem is still there. Any chance for a fix soon you think?

I did a factory reset and it does not help with the problem. This is really urgent or I will have to change phone.
