Since my phone updated to Android 15 most if not all media playback has broken, regardless of service/app. A video or a song will play for about a minute before the media player itself disappears, requiring the app to be reopened to begin playing again. I've played with every battery setting and every solution online has been a dead end. Prior to the Android 15 update this problem did not exist, so it only leads me to believe it was caused by the Android 15 update.

I think I just solved this actually. See my new post here:

Hello @pate
I am not able to recreate this issue, have you tried doing a factory reset? This can fix many issues that can come with an Android update.

I have the same problem. There must be other ways to fix it than factory reset.

If the problem is wider than just one app then it is best to do a reset to clear any issues that might have come from updating.
There could be other solutions but the safest bet is the reset, having a clean install is the best way to eliminate the possibility of other issues.

Please read my other post, and note that I performed a factory reset, yet the issue persists. I kindly request Asus address this major problem that is rendering music streaming nearly impossible. The issue occurs consistently—after about a minute or two, the music abruptly stops as the media player interface (on both the lock screen and notification panel) disappears, just as Pate described. This cannot be a coincidence; it appears that the problem stems from Asus/Android 15. Your prompt attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.
