Since my phone updated to Android 15 most if not all media playback has broken, regardless of service/app. A video or a song will play for about a minute before the media player itself disappears, requiring the app to be reopened to begin playing again. I've played with every battery setting and every solution online has been a dead end. Prior to the Android 15 update this problem did not exist, so it only leads me to believe it was caused by the Android 15 update.

I have the same problem. After the update, my YouTube stops after about 5 minutes in the standby mode. So I have to keep the screen on all the time, which is very bad for the battery and the AMOLED panel. This all started after updating to Android 15. And no, I'm not going to reset my smartphone to factory settings just because Asus released a buggy update. It's not my fault that Asus makes buggy updates and then just keeps quiet about them.

Please don't make a factory reset cause I did and of course that did not fix it. There is a lot of people confirming the problem here and in another thread. Iv'e just sent @Mattias_ASUS a private message a moment ago. I really hope they start taking this matter serious and fix it soon. I am so close to selling my phone and never look at Asus again. Never ever had a phone this problematic and without security updates.
