Is this asus laptop and this asus dock compatible? Specifically asking about the power on/off button.

The ASUS SimPro Dock 2 is an accessory designed for commercial laptops. 
Since the UM3504 is not listed in its compatibility list, we cannot guarantee its stability and compatibility when used together.
