Grey lines and green flicker on webcam when using AC power

Last edited by Quarter on 2019/12/9 09:37 As described above, the webcam image has grey lines and occasional green flickers. This only occurs when AC power is plugged in, everything works perfectly when using battery. I have removed and re-installed drivers with no success. This is a brand new laptop that I removed from the box yesterday. I see that there are two other questions with the same issue, but no answer has been provided. Is this a hardware issue and do I need to return my laptop or is there a software fix?

Hi @Blake_ASUS I am also running into this issue. Currently my bios is version 302 and just reflashed it to see if that clears it. I'm also using the usb universal dock. Below is my system information.

ASUS VivoBook S15 S532FL-PB55
BIOS: X532FL.302
Windows 10 home 64 bit 10.0.18363

Just purchased a brand new VivoBook S15 S532FA-DS74 two days ago and am experiencing the same issue - green flicker and gray lines. Please PM BIOS update when you can. Thanks!

Hello @Blake_ASUS . I have same problem with my laptop -grey lines on webcam when using AC power-. The laptop is ASUS notebook 4509FA-BQ366. I mention that I updated the bios already and the problem persist. The version of my bios is 303. Can you help me please to fix this problem?
