Some parameters are missing in Intel Graphics Command Center

D_IMAN
Rising Star II

A couple of weeks ago the Intel Graphics Command Center application was updated
And there the saturation\hue\bpc settings, etc. disappeared.

I contacted Intel, they took a long time to figure out what was going on, and asked me to contact the laptop manufacturer!

Here is a thread in the Intel community
https://community.intel.com/t5/Graphics/Intel-Control-Panel/td-p/1542692

We are talking about these parameters:

The screenshots are not mine, I found them on Google as an example!
I don't have these options...

Can you explain why these settings disappeared?

Quote from intel support:
Hello qwerty007, Thank you very much for your patience. I just received an update on this matter.

After reviewing the case we would like to let you know that the Hue and Saturation options are not available because their OEM enabled the XVYCC mode. What we recommend then will be to contact your OEM to ask for a way to configure this feature. Still, if you need the Hue and Saturation options available, then it will be needed to disable the XVYCC mode manually (via remote login), and install graphics drivers from the OEM to re-enable this mode.

1. I checked my registry, I don't have the XVYCCFreatureEnable setting

2. Intel still insists that I contact ASUS!

Maybe you can contact them yourself?

Otherwise it becomes a vicious circle, Intel sends me to ASUS. ASUS is sending me to Intel...

@D_IMAN
After testing with the same model on our backend, we were unable to replicate the same phenomenon as you described (saturation\hue\bpc settings, etc. disappeared). ASUS concludes that disabling XVYCC mode will not have a specific impact on the existing driver environment.

What we can currently confirm is that the driver provided by ASUS does not activate the XVYCC mode of the system after installing Microsoft Pure OS. In the same registry directory, by default, we cannot find the 'XVYCCFeatureEnable' regedit key.

As your laptop was shipped without an operating system and you installed it yourself, we cannot determine the source of this issue on your end.

Regarding the method provided by Intel, we suggest trying it and maintaining contact with Intel support to continue debugging (due to the condition arising after an update through the Microsoft Store.)

Here is our testing version information:
BIOS: 303
Intel VGA driver: 30.0.101.3111 from ASUS
IGCC uwp: 1.100.5237.0
OS: Windows 11 Pro 23H2 Pure OS

Thank you.

The problem is no longer relevant!

Today an update of this application arrived, the version is 1.100.5287.0

All settings are back to normal. Everything works as before!
