New 15" VivoBook OLED K3502Z Sleep mode and Wake event warnings

FrankW

I am getting Win32k event warnings each time the laptop enters Sleep mode either by the Power setting or manually, and on Wake after pressing a key. I tried different sleep and wake settings, even disabled sleep, but it seems to ignore all power settings, possibly controlled by BIOS. These warnings are harmless but annoying for a brand new top of the line business laptop.

This Win32K Power error is an old Windows10 relic that I have not seen in Windows11 with other brand laptops. The event warning ID is 700 on Sleep and 701 on Wake ((INPUT_SUPPRESS_REQUEST=1 or 0). I attach the details of the Sleep 700 event. Any suggestions welcome.

@FrankW
May I ask where this error message is appearing? Could you provide a screenshot for us to confirm? If you enter safe mode on your laptop and put it to sleep using the same process, does the issue occur again? If the problem does not recur, it may be caused by third-party software that is not part of the system. We recommend removing any software installed after the issue started to troubleshoot. Alternatively, you can back up your data and restore the system. Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

Hi Falcon,

That was the Event View warning that I attached. It has something to do with Modern Standby in BIOS (no options in my version) and the Asus Custom Power Plan, I had changed that to Balanced Power Plan recommended by Windows11 and then Win32k 700-701 warnings started. Now I am back on the Asus Power Plan and did not yet get these warnings. I will see how it goes. I don't use any 3rd party software.

@FrankW
If possible, please provide the video of the error message.
Additionally, please also provide the current operating system build number, BIOS version, and MyASUS version you are using.
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

It is solved, changing Balanced Power Plan to Asus custom Power Plan made the warnings stop.
