K6602ZE-OLED-MX731X temperature

Hello all, I have a newly bought K6602ZE-OLED-MX731X laptop.

I am experiencing a couple of issues that worry me:

a) the laptop is getting mildly hot in idle -> meaning around 50C and also warm to the touch from the top and bottom side without doing anything

b) during cinebench r23 tests I am getting worse scores than the reported ones -> meaning arround 12.500 while others get 13500-14500

c) during the above stress test I can see the temperature of one core reaching 97-100C max temperature (with lower average temperature)

Are they above normal for this model? Should I contact support or are the above expected?

Thank you very much

@kaseri
A temperature of around 50°C in idle is generally acceptable. However, if the laptop feels excessively hot to the touch or if you notice unusually high temperatures, it might be worth checking for any background processes or applications that could be causing unnecessary load.

Lower cinebench scores than reported by others could be due to various factors, including differences in system configurations, background processes. To ensure you get the most accurate comparison, make sure your laptop is running on the best performance mode, and no other applications are running in the background during the test.

If you still have concerns, we would suggest you bring back your laptop to our service center for further confirmation.
