I currently bougt a vivobook with a ryzen 5 7520 and installed CS2 and Minecraft and for some reason Minecraft raised the CPU temp to 93⁰C and CS2 only at 75⁰C. Is this normal or should I be concerned? Is there any way to lower the temps? Thanks for the help

Hi, may we ask if you are using any cooling pad or using the unit on a hard, flat surface to help lower the temps (like a table or desk)?
93 degrees is too hot for me. My ASUS laptop with a GTX 1070 GPU, the maximum temperature I get while playing Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, reaching 70c to 80°C, depending on the environment in my room LOL. Since I don't have an air conditioner,
If your unit has dedicated graphics, you may get lower temps while playing, most of the games will be run on GPU, but if not, then the CPU of your unit will be stressed to render the games you are playing. That is why most of gaming laptop has a dedicated graphics and better cooling system.
Also, the environment of the area sometimes matters.

Could you please provide the complete model number of the laptop you are using?

Have you updated the BIOS version, system version, and graphics card drivers to the latest versions?
Sorry for any inconvenience it may be caused.

A CPU temperature of 93°C while playing Minecraft is on the high side and could cause performance issues or long-term damage. Make sure your laptop has good airflow, clean any dust, and consider using a cooling pad. Adjusting power settings or undervolting might help. If the problem continues, you may need to check the cooling system or reapply thermal paste.
