Does VivoBook S14 bypass battery when fully charged?

Hi!

Does the VivoBook S14 (S5406SA) run on AC when plugged in at full charge (or limited to 80% in my case)? Therefore, is it better to keep it plugged in or let the battery drain (to, let's say, 30%) and charge it back up, as not to repeatedly charge whenever it drops below 80%?

Second question: I found out that the laptop only charges with PD chargers, is that the case? I would prefer to plug it in overnight to a slow charger to keep the battery healthy for longer.

1. If you have set the battery charge limit to 80% in MyASUS, the battery will stop charging once it reaches that limit and will switch to power supply mode, so it will not continue charging.

2. Yes, this model charges via USB-C Power Delivery (PD).

Thank you.
