Hello! I bought an Asus Vivobook pro 15 last week and found that after connecting or disconnecting the charger the CPU drops from 3,29GHz to 0.38GHz.
Entering into sleep mode or rebooting fixes the issue, but as you understand it's very annoying having to do this everytime after connecting or disconnecting the charger.
I'm using Windows 11 and I have latest bios version (American Megatrends International, LLC. M6500QC.313, 05/07/2023), MyAsus doesn't find any issue when analyzing while the slowdown is there. I have also tried a factory reset.
I have found other threads here talking about the same issue but no one pointed the root cause ( the trigger event of charging and uncharging). Seems to be a software bug.

@pgr
May I ask what version of the system (operating system build numbers) you are currently using?
Could you provide the process of the issue occurring in the form of a video or image for us to confirm?
We apologize for any inconvenience caused.

I'm using Windows 11 version 23H2
Here there is a reedit post with people having the same issue:

@pgr
Understood, I will forward your request to the technical team for confirmation.
Meanwhile, could you also provide me with information about your current situation (such as a screenshot of CPU frequency reduction)?
