If you can confirm that the router is functioning properly, then your network connection is provided by your internet service provider. After configuring the router, the DHCP function assigns IP addresses, allowing your wired network to connect to the internet.

Hi

Not sure, however....

An internet connection would normally want/need a Gateway.

If your router is the Gateway, and common numbers are 192.168.0.1 & 192.168.1.1 then I guess your Wi-Fi has that value in it's settings.

Your ethernet goes via a HUB/SWITCH which may use 10.0.0.0 for instance, and your gateway would/should be set accordingly.

try some simple commands

WINKEY +R

cmd.exe   press Ctrl + Shift + Enter

type

ipconfig -all

or

ipconfig /all | more

ALSO try these...

netsh lan show interfaces & netsh lan show all | more

powershell Get-NetConnectionProfile

If you can post some output results, all the better.

If in doubt please ask.

When should i try these commands?Because when i switch off Wi-Fi it shows that there is no connection to the internet. This is what i get when i type this commands with Wi-Fi switched on.

I would recommend manually disabling the wireless network and then checking if your wired network is functioning properly.
Please go to Control Panel > Network and Sharing Center > Change adapter settings. Find Wi-Fi, right-click and select Disable.
Thank you.

If i disable the wireless network from where the internet will come from ? When LAN cable is connected to router.
