Subject: Complaint against Asus Technology Pvt. Ltd. and TVS Electronics Ltd. – Asus Service Center Pune for defective product and deficiency in service

Respected Sir/Madam,

I, Venkatesh Koli, resident of A/p Perne, Tal-Haveli, Dist-Pune – 412216, would like to lodge a formal complaint under the Consumer Protection Act against Asus Technology Pvt. Ltd. and its authorized service center for selling a defective product and for providing highly unsatisfactory after-sales service.

Details of Complaint:

1. I purchased an Asus ROG 5s mobile phone (Serial No.: M9AIGF003500H57). Within just two years of purchase, the motherboard failed twice.


2. After continuous complaints for almost three months, Asus finally approved a free-of-cost (FOC) repair.


3. On 18th July 2025, I submitted my mobile phone at TVS Electronics Ltd. – Asus Service Center, Pune (In-charge: Mr. Muthu Kumar).


4. Even after 40 days, the service center has not returned my repaired phone. Instead, they informed me that a part is missing, without giving any clear solution.


5. I tried to contact Mr. Muthu Kumar, QA Executive – Service Department (SQM), who is handling my case, but he has been ignoring my calls.

 

Grievances:

Repeated failure of the motherboard clearly indicates a manufacturing defect.

Delay of more than 40 days and refusal to provide my phone back amounts to deficiency in service.

Failure to communicate properly and harassment caused by not returning the device.


Relief Sought:

I kindly request the Hon’ble Consumer Court to:

1. Direct Asus Technology Pvt. Ltd. and its service center to immediately return my fully repaired phone, or alternatively, replace it with a new device of equivalent value.


2. Award compensation for mental harassment, inconvenience, and loss of time due to their negligence.


3. Direct the opposite parties to pay the cost of litigation.
