ROG 3 phone repair

ROG 3 phone, all other info should not apply as this is a hardware related issue. 

I have recently revived my old ROG 3 phone from the grave, new screen, new battery, new rear panel. Works great now!! But in my need to perfect it I have one last task. Unfortunately the rear panel I ordered did not come with the led pad for the center logo LEDs. The one on the old panel works fine but the panel is all cracked up. Will it be possible to heat/alcohol dissolve the glue and remove the old led panel and just glue it to the new rear panel? I will probably attempt this should this not be answered here. But just thought I should ask for tips or advice,  before possibly wasting valuable time.

I was way over thinking! Easily came off the old case with some heat and alcohol. Was two parts the led pad and a thin plastic like film under it like a sort of filter, I assume to tone down the brightness of the LEDs. Glue was tacky enough where it all stuck right on to the new case and I tacked the edge with a little clear t8000.
