Hello. I would like to ask about RMA process for motherboards. I have read a lot about hardware issues on ROG 6(Camera/Speaker), most likely caused by production fault(blown transistor), but a lot of people were saying that Asus charges money for fix/motherboard swap. Is it true or is it done under warranty without payment?

The actual condition of your phone needs to be verified by the service center to determine this. Therefore, we would recommend you to send it for repair. If your phone is still within the warranty period, and upon inspection, if there are no CID (Customer Induced Damage) conditions, it will be processed under warranty.

Also you can contact the local service center for help.

a quick question: if this is a production issue, that has nothing to do with the customer, why is mandatory to have no CID, when it is posible to have CID that doesnt affect the issue?

Yes, it is true. I faced the same problem. It is a manufacturing defect in my device. The camera does not work
