My phone has been sitting useless for a few months now, after an update. No idea what version the update was or how to verify it at this point, but seems like a number of users were impacted by this and I haven't seen any solutions.
After the update, my microphone stopped working. I then attempted to restart the device, only for it to get stuck on the boot logo. Tried a hard reset - nothing - the device is unusable. Have seen some users online say they required the motherboard to be replaced after this? To update your phone and then require a new motherboard all of a sudden seems pretty crazy to me. Very frustrating to have these problems at this price point, I have had several ROG laptops over the years and a ROG PC - this really makes you lose trust in the brand.

Try to restore the entire system with a clean install and then see what happens.

I did a factory reset, no success

I'm sorry to hear it!
In this case then I'd recommend reaching out to your closest ASUS Service Center so that they can look into it.
You can find your closest one in the link here: https://www.asus.com/support/service-center-location/

Hello @ROGkal
I'm sorry you are experiencing this, please try taking out the SIM Card, connecting the phone to the charger and try to start the phone, if the phone hasn't had battery in a while I do recommend to have it charging for at least 15 minutes before trying to start the phone.
Please let me know if this works.
