WARNING!!! ASUS ROG PHONE 9 FE = DON'T BUY

I bought the ROG Phone 9 FE on May 22 — and guess what? By August 1, it's DEAD. Can’t charge at all. Only TWO MONTHS of use and this so-called “gaming phone” is already broken? What a joke. Total scam. Massive product failure.

Took it to the ASUS service center, and instead of actually helping, they suggested replacing the motherboard — which would change the original IMEI from the box. Seriously?? That’s straight-up shady. I lost all my work files, photos, everything. And the repair process? Slow as hell, no urgency at all.

I deeply regret buying this phone. For the price I paid, this is nothing but overpriced junk. ASUS should be ashamed for releasing garbage like this and treating customers like they don’t matter.

Save your money. Stay away from ASUS ROG phones.

To provide warranty repair services, the standard repair and inspection process typically takes 5 to 7 working days. According to your repair record, your case is currently waiting for parts. I will forward your case to the local service team for further follow-up. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Hello,

Have you tried a different charger?

I remember having that problem once with the Rog Phone 1.

But after trying about two other chargers, it charged the battery again. It could be an overload of the power adapter or a spark from the power supply.

Yes, I've. I tried different chargers, even wireless charging, but nothing worked. Turns out the issue wasn’t the port or battery.it was the mainboard. They replaced it, and now my phone works fine. The only problem is the new mainboard changed the IMEI, so it doesn’t match the box anymore. Now, i don't have a chance to get free cooler from event in jakarta because of it(imei change)😭
